Hunkar Begendi is a traditional Turkish dish of tender lamb braised with tomatoes and onions in a smoky Eggplant Cream. It is the centerpiece of our Turkish menu which also includes a cold cucumber soup, and Hazelnut Baklava, which brings back memories of hazelnuts :
