Shelley’s Table at Aaron Burr House

If you are traveling to the river towns of the Delaware, you can’t do better than stay at the beautifully appointed Aaron Burr House. Start your weekend off early with a cooking class, as Shelley teaches classes there on Thursday nights. The towns of New Hope and Lambertville are filled with antique and art galleries as well as shops and restaurants. They are connected by a bridge with a walkway, no car is needed, especially if you take the Transbridge bus from New York’s Penn Station to Lambertville.

Directions to The Aaron Burr House:

The Aaron Burr House is located at 80 West Bridge Street, New Hope PA, the yellow house on the corner of Chestnut St, just before Ferry Street joins Bridge Street (coming from Lambertville-New Hope Bridge). If there is no available parking in their lot via Chestnut Street, Park on Bridge Street or go a little further up the hill and park in the high school. You can enter through the front or back door . Do not park on Chestnut street unless you have a permit to do so.

Parking: Park in the Bank of Princeton parking lot accessible via Lambert Lane; enter the FAR end of the first parking lot on your right and drive all the way back to the Bank parking lot. The apartment is up the wide staircase next to the bank.
